MOS 6522 Complex Interface Adapter

Description

MOS Technology 6522 Complex Interface Adapter.  These were pulls from scrap VIC-20 boards, but they have been tested as good in a working VIC-20. These should fit and work in many computer systems including:

• Commodore PET and Drives
• Commodore VIC-20
• Commodore 1541 / 1541-II
• Commodore 1571
• Apple III (not to be confused with the Apple II series)
• Apple Macintosh 128K, 512K, Plus
• BBC Micro
• Vectrex
• Oric 1 / Oric Atmos

This chip is used for input/output.  So when they go bad, typical problems on the computer are things such as:

• Disk Drive Ports
• Joystick Ports
• Keyboards
• Serial Ports

Note about stock:  I have limited stock ready to ship, but I have more that can be tested. So if you see that it is out-of-stock, just wait a few days and check back as I will likely have more.
